About the Author

Bob Wahl (born 1934, Kronstal, Saskatchewan) is a fourth-generation Canadian Mennonite whose life spans prairie farm chores, global entrepreneurship, and cross-continental ministry. After a tractor-side conversion, he hitch-hiked to Two Rivers Bible Institute, later completing high school in Chicago and marrying Beverley Peake in 1957. His career ranged from car dealerships and cookware sales to launching youth camps with Word of Life in Germany and Austria, followed by Bible-teaching missions across post-Soviet Ukraine. Wahl has survived cancer, battled depression, and chronicled Beverley’s decade of dementia before her 2016 passing. Now based in Saskatoon, he continues mentoring, journaling, and writing memoirs.
